LockedOut

Being locked out of your account can be a frightful experience. This could be due to switching internet providers or moving locations. This guide will assist you in creating a ticket in the locked out section on http://xat.com/ticket. Since you are locked out of your account you cannot login and create a ticket the normal way. Instead you must follow the steps below.


(1) First make sure you are logged out of support (you can make sure by clicking the logout button in the corner of support). It looks like:

(2) Now proceed to click http://util.xat.com/support/open.php and enter both the username and password of your locked out account. Make sure the topic is set to "Locked out" and make sure your subject is at least 5 words or more. If you've followed the steps correctly so far your page should look similar to:

(3) Click Open ticket and it should say your ticket was received. You should receive a reply in the next 24 hours. When your ticket has been answered you can check your ticket status by checking the email registered under the locked out account (there should be an email from xat support containing a link allowing you to reply back). Use the link in the email and click Check ticket status. You will now be able to reply back to the security questions posted on the ticket without a problem.

  • Please note that all unlocks come with a 7 day hold (can't trade/transfer for 7 days).
