  • Nick allows you to change your friend's name.

How to use

  • To change the name of a user while in main chat, type /fNewNickname ID
  • To change the name of a user while in private chat, type /fNewNickname or /f to delete nick.
  • Note: To replace the entire display name of a user, you must add a “.” at the end of the new display name.

Examples

To add a prefix to a user's name:

  • While in main chat, type: /fNewNickname 123456789
  • While in private chat, type: /fNewNickname

To change a user's entire name:

  • While in main chat, type: /fNewNickname. 123456789
  • While in private chat, type: /fNewNickname.

Tips

  • If you want to start a nickname with a number, add an underscore after /f:
    • While in main chat, type: /f_123NewNickname 123456789
    • While in private chat, type: /f_123NewNickname
  • You can also use smilies in nicknames:
    • While in main chat, type: /f(smile). 123456789
    • While in private chat, type: /f(smile).
    • Note: You can use any smiley in someone's name, although the other user must own the power.
  • You can end a nick in a separator like / (keep this secret)

Other information

Caution: You are advised to set your own nicks. Do not set nicks to what other users suggest, especially words like admin or xat etc.

This power can safely be disabled without the risk of assigned nicknames resetting (as long as you have that person in your friends list). However, customized nicknames will not display with Nick disabled, ergo days required.
