Ein Profil ist Ihre persönliche Seite auf xat auf welcher Sie Informationen, Bilder, Widgets, Musik und Videos bereitstellen können. Diese Anleitung wird Ihnen beim Einrichten Ihres Profiles helfen.
Aufrufen eines Profiles
Um Ihr eigenes Profil aufzurufen, klicken Sie auf Ihr Bild. Um das Profil einer anderen Person aufzurufen, klicken Sie auf deren Bild und Sie befinden sich auf dem entsprechenden Profil. Dort können Sie sehen, was der Benutzer über sich selbst schreibt.
Hinweis: Ein Benutzer muss registriert sein, um über ein Profil zu verfügen. Beim Klicken eines Bildes einer unregistrierten Identität gelangen Sie auf die unregistrierte Profilseite.

Standartprofile
Bei Standartprofilen handelt es sich um Profile, welche mit den grundlegenden Einstellungen angefertigt wurden. Auf der linken Seite befinden sich Bild, Homepage, Name und registrierter Benutzername. Auf der rechten Seite befindet sich die "Über mich" Sektion. Sollte der entsprechende Benutzer nichts eingetragen haben, ist das Profil leer oder zeigt "P" an. Unten befindet sich die Medienbox, in welcher Playlists, Videos, Chats, Umfragen, etc. zu sehen sein können!

Über Mich Abschnitt
The profile "About Me" section includes a WYSIWYG Editor, for easy profile editing. To enable this, check the "Use WYSIWYG editing (beta)" box, and then click Save Changes at the bottom. When it re-loads the page, you will see the WYSIWYG options at the top of the profile box. To know what each icon does, mouse-over the icon and it should say what it will do when you click it.
Bilder Album
To use the Picture Album, enter the link to your photobucket album. Note the album must not require a password to enter. To change this, click Account Options at the top right of any photobucket page (when signed in). Then scroll down to Album Settings, and make sure it says your album is Public.

Inappropriate Profiles
If you stumbled upon a profile that breaks the xat terms of service, please click the "Inappropriate" link at the top (under the advertisement), and enter the required information. Your report will be sent to xat and will be dealt with appropriately.
Impersonating Celebrities
Profiles impersonating celebrities will be removed as this severely breaks our terms of service. However, xat supports "role-playing" and other such games on our service, and as such this should be clearly noted on the profile so other users are aware that you are not the real identity behind the profile. This is extremely important to keeping our service safe and fun for all users. Profiles not marked clearly enough will be removed at our discretion.
